Best Traits for Lethal Zone
In your playtime on State of Decay 2, you’ll stumble across many character traits. Some of them are extremely useful, some not so much.
But for Lethal Zone, you want to be picky. Choosing the wrong trait could mean the difference between life and death, surviving one more day or perishing by the wayside. Here are the traits you want to focus on for your Lethal Zone community:
- Blood Plague Survivor — Provides -100% Plague Infection, and a Hero Bonus: +15 Max Health for the entire community.
- Unbreakable — Provides +45 Max Health and -100% Injury Chance, plus a Hero Bonus: +10 Max Health for the entire community.
- Hard to Kill — Provides -40% Injury Severity and +45 Max Health, plus a Hero Bonus: +5 Max Health for the entire community.
- Never Been Sick — Provides +100 Infection Resistance, and a Hero Bonus: +100 Infection Resistance for the entire community.
- Just Keeps Going — Provides -40% Fatigue Severity and +45 Max Stamina, plus a Hero Bonus: Moral Support (Offers Encouragement radio command).
Just Keeps Going is the only trait listed here with a lackluster Hero Bonus. The rest, well, they’re all extremely useful for a Lethal Zone playthrough.
Honorable Mentions
Of course, with so many traits and so little time, you may not wish to re-roll your characters for an hour. Here are a few honorable mention traits you would do well with, too.
- Pathology — Extracts plague samples more often, offers medical advice via the radio, and as a Hero Bonus, provides +50 Infection Resistance to the whole community.
- Determined — Provides the character with +20 Max Health, can handle up to -60 morale without negative costs, and has +20 Max Stamina. As a Hero Bonus: +10 Max Health to the entire community.
There are surely other skills and traits in State of Decay 2 that prove ever-useful against Lethal Zone. But these few will see you through to the end and you should covet them on your survivors!
