Why Goblins & Ghouls?
Think back to your favorite RPG from back in the day; Diablo, A Bard’s Tale, and Golden Axe. Or, perhaps you’re new-school and prefer the likes of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Wolcen. In the role-playing genre, all throughout your adventures, you’ll stumble across both goblins and ghouls — iconic enemies that many of us slaughtered to and fro for decades. They are synonymous with the grind so well-suited to gaming. We love the grind, and we love the games, so that’s where the inspiration stems from in our name. It’s all love.
Our Promise to You
In the past few years, we’ve noticed a dreadful trend within the games journalism industry. Many so-called professional journalists seemingly show disdain for the hobby and for those who enjoy it. They throw around words like “sexist,” “misogynist,” and “racist.”
You know what? We don’t believe the gaming community overflows with such hateful, vitriol-fueled individuals. Like you, we want to enjoy a hobby we’re passionate about and have been since we were young.
Here at Goblins & Ghouls, we promise not to include politics or agenda-pushing in our content. The only agenda we have is to enjoy excellent games and to, hopefully, share them with you.
