Each year, those of us still enjoying the wasteland that is Appalachia patiently await the Fasnacht start, as it’s one event that brings us all together and rewards those with a bit of luck with an unusual mask. This is when Fasnacht starts in Fallout 76 in 2024!
Fasnacht Event Start Date in Fallout 76
As of right now, the latest we’ve heard regarding the start date of the Fasnacht Event in 2024 is February 13th, and it will run until February 27th.
As with every year prior, Fasnacht occurs in Helvetia, where you can find the Master of Ceremonies waiting to start the festivities on the hour. To begin, speak with him.

Fasnacht 2024 Tasks
Regarding the various tasks you must complete, prepare yourself. There are quite a few miscellaneous objectives to tackle this year, including:
- Collecting beeswax
- Decorating the barn
- Playing music
- Collecting Toad eggs
- Collecting wood
- Collecting Fasnacht Beersteins
- Collecting squirrel intestines
- Defeating Honey Beasts
As you can see, like in previous years, it’s a lot of collecting. But hey, cool masks, right?!
Fasnacht 2024 Rewards
As per usual, there are a variety of rewards available to those who complete the event successfully and everyone with a bit of luck. The drop rate for a rare mask after finishing the event sits at approximately 0.333%. It’s a long shot, but look at those masks!
