Meagher Valley

State of Decay 2: What is the Best Base in Meagher Valley

I have to say, despite its overall appearance (which I do enjoy) Meagher Valley is my least-played map in State of Decay 2. For the most part, I enjoy the many bases in Meagher Valley, like the Rural Police Station and Squelones Brewing Company, and I even completed my first boon on Meagher Valley. But I find it’s one of the more bog-standard maps. Despite this, let’s take a look at what I feel is the best base in Meagher Valley!

Home Sites in Meagher Valley

Like most other maps in the game, there are seven home sites in Meagher Valley.

  • Clarington House
  • Country Church
  • Camp Kelenqua
  • Mazzara Farm
  • Rural Police Station
  • Squelones Brewing Company
  • Whitney Field

What is the Best Base in Meagher Valley?

You can only live in one spot on Meagher Valley, and for that, I recommend choosing Squelones Brewing Company. Yes, I know. It’s not the largest base on the map. It is, however, centrally located, sizable enough for late-game, and comes stock with excellent built-in facilities designed with traders in mind.

As a former brewing center for the community, Squelones Brewing Company comes with readily available stills and a tasting room to add a nice boost to both your influence and morale.

Its location in the center portion of the map allows for easy access to most areas—ideal for looting well into the late game.

To move your survivors into Squelones Brewing Company, you will require:
