Fallout 76: Where to Find Glassed Cavern

Whether you want to battle the Scorchbeast Queen alongside the rest of the server or faithfully serve the Brotherhood of Steel, at some point, you’ll visit this unique POI down south. Here’s where to find the Glassed Cavern in Fallout 76!

How to Find Glassed Cavern in Fallout 76

The Glassed Cavern in Fallout 76, sometimes known as Echo Lamda and End Zone, at least according to the Brotherhood of Steel, is a point of interest you can stumble upon in the Cranberry Bog. It’s located north of Overgrown Sundew Grove and south of the Flooded Trainyard just outside Watoga. As such, you’ll have to travel quite far southeast to find the Glassed Cavern, making it quite the trek across Appalachia.

But is it worth the time spent wandering through the wasteland? There’s a single main story quest here, plus a handful of loot, so if you’re following along with the Brotherhood of Steel’s questline, you won’t have a choice but to visit the caverns!

A word of warning, however! This is a fan-favorite spot to drop nukes to duke it out with the Scorchbeast Queen, so be wary if you’re traveling to the Glassed Cavern!

Quests at Glassed Cavern

Speaking of quests for the Brotherhood of Steel, the one that brings you to the Glassed Cavern is Belly of the Beast. Your task is to track down the Brotherhood Transponders and then collect Lieutenant Elizabeth Taggerdy’s ID before returning to Fort Defiance.

It’s a simple fetch quest that asks you to deal with Cave Crickets, Fog Crawlers, Mirelurks, Scorched, and a Scorchbeast. So long as you bring some Power Armor and a Gauss Minigun, you should survive just fine!

What Loot You’ll Find at Glassed Cavern

But if you’re spending your hard-earned ammunition and limited time to play on exploring the Glassed Cavern, you want loot. Here’s some of what you can find. As usual, spawns can be randomized depending on the server and loot table.

  • Bad News (Holotape)
  • Accident (Holotape)
  • I’m Stuck Here (Holotape)
  • Have a Nice Life (Holotape)
  • Power Armor Chassis
  • Brother of Steel Combat Armor
  • Fusion Core
  • Ultracite

You want to scoop up some of the Ultracite. You can find the ore scattered about the cavern, especially in the last chamber, and it’s helpful in crafting late-game items such as Ultracite Power Armor, Ultracite Ammunition, and Super Stimpaks!
