Where to Find a Jet Pack in Fallout 76

Fallout 76: Where to Find A Jet Pack

Do you want to fly higher than the West Virginia mountains? Do you want to traverse the wasteland in absolute style? If you answered yes to either of these questions, you must know where to find a jet pack in Fallout 76! It’s the only way to travel these days!

Seriously, who walks anymore?

How to Get a Jet Pack in Fallout 76

The world of Fallout 76 is positively massive, and traversing the wasteland can leave you feeling lonely and, occasionally, downright bored at times. Instead of walking or wasting caps on fast travel, why not find a jet pack and float through the air like an irradiated bee?

Thankfully, numerous armor sets in the game, especially power armor, can equip the jet pack. For a standard jet pack, like those found and used on the T-series Power Armor, you can acquire one through quests, world events, or enemy drops.

Typically, you’ll have to spend a few caps, though. It’s easier to buy the Jet Pack plans from a vendor or player C.A.M.P. You’ll generally pay around 3,000 caps at an NPC vendor, though player pricing is often far more relaxed.

Craft a Jet Pack in Fallout 76

Alternatively, if you have the plans already, you can craft a jet pack for your power armor.

For that, you’ll require a few materials for crafting, and you’ll have to modify the torso via an Armor Workbench.

Regarding the materials, you’ll require the following:

  • Adhesive
  • Aluminum
  • Asbestos
  • Nuclear Material
  • Stable Cobalt Flux
  • Stable Violet Flux

Jet Packs for T-65, Hellcat, and Union Power Armor

While you can generally buy the plans or the add-on from vendors, the T-65, Hellcat, and Union Power Armors vary in cost and resource requirements.

  • T-65 Power Armor — 2,000 Gold Bullion
  • Hellcat Power Armor — 3,000 Gold Bullion
  • Union Power Armor — 1,000 Stamps

Secret Service Armor Jet Pack

But the jet pack is not solely for power armor! It’s also available for the Secret Service Armor, but you’ll have to buy the plan from a vendor, which costs gold bullion.

For the Secret Service Armor Jet Pack, you’ll need 2,000 Gold Bullion, and it’s sold via most GB merchants in the game.
